So its not exactly the same as the song and funtastic summer music video depicts... especially in New England in January...

Ok first off my thought was - the truck is heated, the wash water is heated, should wash up fine then while driving - instafreeze - but I would be inside, the better to push the door open..

It all sounded good in my head...

However I neglected the truck surface temp, EVEN THE SOAP FROZE ON CONTACT!

Granted a lot of it did loosen and rinse back off but still, grumble....

Can't tell if its just aired ice or soapy ice...

So here's a tip from me to you - if you can't stand the caked on salt on your vehicle in winter and want to wash it, wait till temps are above freezing! Unless of course you want to trap the salt between ice and the paint job...

Thankfully supposed to warm up later this week - hopefully will thaw the sucker out..
