After todays much ballyhooed snowstorm that was supposed to dump all kinds of snow on us, I am reminded of the frustration over and over of anticipating the wonder and beauty of snow, only to be led astray by the meteorologists time and again.
For a storm that was supposed to drop 6-12 inches of snow and not stop till one am, we have gotten MAYBE 2 inches and it stopped snowing around 9:30pm. Sigh... I was so looking forward to a real storm.
That said, I know that many of my friends south of me did get the snow and I hope that they are safe and enjoying it. I just wish these near misses would stop already, and really bring it on.
I did have a nice chilled day today though, got the groceries delivered before the snow started, and then got back to bed and a good solid sleep. Now Im just trying to decide what I am going to do with my "day".
I did get the skin put on the phone earlier today, and the first time I have ever had an issue with it not going on right... this one looks for shite. I am hoping that customer service might be able to help me out with a replacement front bit so I can give it another go. But as of yet I still haven't heard back from them. I would still recommend Best Skins Ever though.
So for now I am going to go bundle up on the couch and leave with a note of thanks that the hard working men and women who keep our cities moving up here in the snow didn't have to get out and risk dangerous conditions after all. Even though I would still have liked to have seen the beautiful snow. There is an upside in most situations, you just have to be willing to see them.
